（Part-time） Dental hygienist job at MacArthur Dental Arts

Perform routine dental cleanings and comprehensive preventive care, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride applications.

Conduct thorough patient assessments, identify signs of oral diseases like gingivitis and periodontitis, and provide appropriate care.

Provide comprehensive education to patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive measures, and post-operative care.

Take and review dental X-rays in strict compliance with state regulations and radiation safety protocols.

Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and charting using Eaglesoft software.

Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment in accordance with OSHA and CDC guidelines.

Assist with the implementation of OSHA safety standards and disinfection procedures within the operatory.

Provide exceptional direct patient care, ensuring comfort and a positive experience during every visit.

Stay current with industry advancements and fulfill all continuing education (CE) requirements.

Start Date: Hiring for late December 2025/Early January 2026.

Typical Daily Hours (subject to change):

Tuesday: 8 AM – 5 PM

Thursday: 8 AM – 5 PM

Valid Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of California.

Current CPR/BLS certification.

Radiation Health & Safety Certification.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to educate and interact effectively with patients.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Knowledge of Eaglesoft Software for record-keeping and charting.

Ability to commute to and, if necessary, relocate to Irvine, CA.

Certification in local anesthesia.

Nitrous Oxide Certification.

Certification in soft tissue curettage.

Experience with operating and maintaining various dental medical equipment.

Proficiency in image acquisition for patient care.
