Job Description	Give guidance to patients about how to have good dental care at home after undergoing an operation or procedure Assist dentists with determining the best treatment plan for all kinds of dental diseases Identify dental issues such as periodontitis, gingivitis, or cavities so they can be treated as soon as possible Prevent tooth decay by providing a thorough dental cleaning and applying protective sealants, such as fluoride Document patient visits and keep health records current
