（Part-time） Dental hygienist job at Lancaster Family Dental LLC

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatric patients.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosing dental conditions.
Perform vital sign checks and document patient medical histories accurately.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in chairside procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow during treatments.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care, including four-handed dentistry practices.
Stay updated on dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and relevant medical coding practices.

- Work Hours: Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 8:30 AM -5 PM
- Breaks: 30-minute meal break (not counted as work hours).
- Weekend Work: No weekend shifts required.

Proven experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred.
Familiarity with Open Dental software is highly desirable.
Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles and practices is a plus.
Strong understanding of infection control measures and aseptic techniques.
Proficiency in assessing patient needs and delivering quality care.
Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral health.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation review is beneficial.
