（Full-time） Dental Hygienist job at Broomall Dental Health

Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care by performing preventive dental services, educating patients on oral health, and working collaboratively with the dentist and team members to ensure an exceptional patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, and polishing.

Take and interpret dental radiographs (x-rays).

Assess patients’ oral health and document findings in the dental record.

Apply preventive materials such as fluoride and sealants.

Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, nutrition, and disease prevention.

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures as needed.

Maintain sterilization and infection control standards.

Ensure patient comfort and provide compassionate, professional care.

Stay current with dental hygiene best practices and continuing education requirements.

Qualifications

Current state license as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH).

CPR certification (required).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Attention to detail with a commitment to patient-centered care.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

Experience with digital x-rays and electronic health records.

Familiarity with local anesthesia and nitrous oxide administration (if state-permitted).

Work Schedule

Work Hours are 8am - 6pm with a 1 hour lunch
Paid holidays after 90 day probation
