Perform dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to maintain oral health.
Take and develop dental x-rays as part of thorough patient assessment.
Conduct oral cancer screenings during patient visits.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized home care recommendations.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Dentrix electronic health record (EHR) software.
Sterilize dental instruments and ensure compliance with disinfection protocols.
Schedule and confirm patient appointments, contributing to smooth office flow.
Collaborate with dentists and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
Perform additional duties as required to support daily office operations.

Current and valid Registered Dental Hygienist license in the state of Nebraska.
CPR certification.
Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
Proficiency with dental terminology, procedures, and sterilization protocols.
Experience managing electronic health records (preferably Dentrix).
Strong patient interaction and communication skills for effective oral health education.
Attention to detail in clinical procedures and record keeping.
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a collaborative dental team.

Experience with operating dental imaging equipment.
Prior exposure to dental scheduling and medical equipment cleaning.
Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene.
