Responsibilities:
- Perform dental cleanings, including removing plaque and tartar, polishing teeth, and applying fluoride treatments
- Take dental x-rays
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions
- Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and recording medical histories
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using OpenDental
- Follow strict infection control protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff
- Collaborate with other dental professionals to provide comprehensive patient care

Skills:
- Proficient in performing vital signs measurements and patient assessments
- Experience in assisting dentists during various procedures
- Familiarity with Open Dental or similar dental software for maintaining patient records
- Knowledge of medical imaging techniques for taking and developing dental x-rays
- Understanding of aseptic technique to maintain a sterile environment during procedures
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry
- Excellent infection control practices to prevent the spread of diseases
