（Part-time） Dental hygienist job position at Evolution Dental

Duties

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatric dentistry.
Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to assist the dentist during procedures.
Take and document vital signs, medical imaging, and other relevant patient information.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Review documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness of patient records.
Implement aseptic techniques to prevent infection and ensure patient safety.
Stay updated on dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical coding as it relates to patient care.

Expected hours: 16 per week

Proven experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred.
Familiarity with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of general dentistry practices, pediatric dentistry, and chairside assisting.
Ability to perform patient assessments and provide quality patient care.
Understanding of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively.
Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation review processes is beneficial.
