We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team on a part-time basis, working 1-2 days per week. This position offers competitive pay at $60 per hour plus commission, with a focus on providing comprehensive dental hygiene care, including cleanings and scaling and root planing (SRP). The ideal candidate will be comfortable diagnosing periodontal needs and have laser certification or be willing to obtain it.

Job Description	Perform thorough dental cleanings and scaling and root planing (SRP) procedures. Evaluate and diagnose periodontal conditions and provide appropriate treatment recommendations. Administer preventive dental care in compliance with clinic protocols and safety standards. Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive strategies. Maintain accurate patient records and charting. Collaborate with dentists and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Utilize laser technology for periodontal treatment if certified (preferred). Uphold infection control and sterilization standards.
Salary Range	【Part-time】 $60.00 〜 $65.00 /hour

Shift & Schedule	Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Friday – Monday: Closed
Requirements	Cardiopulmonary resuscitation Basic life support Licensed dental hygienist Experienced Dental Hygienist (1+ years) Current California Registered Dental Hygienist license. CPR Certification. Entry-level or experienced hygienist able to perform all RDH duties. Strong diagnostic skills particularly in periodontal assessment. Ability to commute or relocate to Placerville, CA 95667 prior to starting.
Preferences	Laser certification or willingness to obtain certification. Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a dental care team.
