Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal therapy using appropriate techniques and instruments.
Conduct detailed patient assessments including vital signs and medical history evaluations.
Capture diagnostic images using medical imaging technologies as required.
Educate patients on oral hygiene, nutrition, and preventive dental care tailored to individual needs.
Maintain and update accurate patient records and documentation in full compliance with HIPAA standards.
Review documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy of patient information.
Work collaboratively with dentists and team members to develop effective treatment plans.
Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.

Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Saturday and Sunday: Closed

Valid Registered Dental Hygienist license.
Minimum of 1 year of dental hygiene experience is required.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and standard hygiene practices.
Experience with Dentrix software or similar dental practice management systems preferred.
Understanding of EMR systems and medical coding beneficial.
Excellent communication skills and ability to educate and relate effectively with patients.
Commitment to maintaining patient comfort, safety, and high levels of care.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus but not required.

Experience working with Dentrix software preferred.
Pediatric dental experience considered an asset.
Previous experience in reviewing documentation for compliance and accuracy.
