（Part-time） Dental hygienist job position at Dental Associates Alsip

Greet patients warmly and guide them throughout their appointment to ensure an excellent experience.
Provide thorough removal of calculus deposits, accretions, stains, and cement on supra- and sub-gingival surfaces.
Perform deep periodontal scaling and root planing as prescribed.
Conduct extra-oral and intra-oral cancer screenings, including evaluation of lymph nodes for swelling or tenderness.
Assess teeth and attachment for signs of periodontal disease prior to dentist examinations.
Accurately chart dental findings related to decay and periodontal conditions for treatment planning.
Assist dentists during oral examinations to provide seamless patient care.
Maintain professional communication and delivery of patient education on oral hygiene practices.

Current and valid State of Illinois dental hygiene license.
Completion of an accredited dental hygiene program; entry-level candidates encouraged.
Strong customer service and patient interaction skills.
Ability to provide clinical care with attention to detail and patient comfort.
Willingness to learn and engage in ongoing professional development.

Previous experience in a dental office environment.
Knowledge of dental software systems (Fuse software familiarity is a plus).
Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
