Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for pediatric patients.
Assess oral health and implement necessary treatments or preventive measures.
Educate patients and their guardians on proper oral hygiene and preventive care techniques.
Assist the dentist during procedures utilizing four-handed dentistry to optimize workflow and patient comfort.
Maintain accurate and detailed medical and dental records in compliance with HIPAA and clinic policies.
Utilize EMR systems such as Eaglesoft for patient management and documentation.
Perform vital signs assessments and document findings as part of comprehensive patient evaluations.
Adhere to strict aseptic and infection control standards to maintain a safe clinic environment.
Collaborate closely with the dental team to provide excellent care in a pediatric and general dentistry setting.

Flexible scheduling options for work-life balance

Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Sunday: Closed

Valid Dental Hygienist license.
3-5 years of dental hygienist experience, preferably with pediatric dentistry exposure.
Proficient in dental terminology, anatomy, and patient assessment.
Experience with medical coding, documentation review, and medical imaging related to dentistry.
Strong knowledge of infection control practices in clinical settings.
Experience using dental software systems such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix.
Ability to perform chairside assisting and collaborate with dentists efficiently.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work compassionately with pediatric patients and families.

Previous experience working in a pediatric dental office or similar environment.
Familiarity with general dentistry procedures alongside pediatric care.
Strong organizational skills in managing medical records and clinical documentation.
