（Part-time） Dental hygienist job position at Mountain West Family Dental

Perform dental prophylaxis including scaling, root planing, and periodontal maintenance.
Conduct comprehensive periodontal assessments and oral cancer screenings.
Take and interpret dental x-rays including bitewing, periapical, panoramic, occlusal, and CBCT imaging.
Provide fluoride treatments, dental sealant applications, and tooth polishing to patients.
Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and overall dental health.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient charts, utilizing digital charting systems where applicable.
Collaborate closely with dentists and the dental team to ensure excellent patient care.
Uphold infection control and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment.

Current Arizona Dental Hygiene license.
Entry-level to experienced dental hygienist with a passion for preventive dentistry and patient care.
Proficient in dental scaling, root planing, fluoride treatments, and dental prophylaxis.
Experience or familiarity with panoramic imaging, CBCT, and various dental x-ray techniques.
Strong teamwork skills and willingness to assist wherever needed.
Excellent communication skills for patient counseling and education.
Ability to work a flexible part-time schedule (18–24 hours per week).

Experience with digital charting and modern hygiene tools.
Prior exposure to dental care patient education and counseling.
Knowledge of advanced dental imaging methods such as extraoral radiography and bisecting angle techniques.
