（Part-time） Hygienist job position at Paradigm Prosthodontics

At Paradigm Prosthodontics, we are looking for a Dental Hygienist to establish a positive and familiar report with their patients, engaging them in a way to promote the growth of our hygiene program. Their duties include screening patients, educating them about their diet and how it impacts their oral health and counselling them during and after treatment.
Other responsibilities include:

Counselling patients and keeping them calm during examination and treatment
Screening patients, including conducting mouth and neck examinations and reviewing oral health history
Educating patients on proper teeth and gum care and the importance of diet on oral health
Taking X-rays and developing dental impressions and radiographs of teeth
Sterilizing dental instruments and equipment
Removing plaque, cleaning teeth and helping to prevent gum disease
Performing periodontal maintenance procedures
Supporting the Dentist on all aspects of dental care
Staying current with the latest developments in dentistry
Collecting medical and dental histories from patients
Charting dental conditions based on observations and evaluations

- Work Hours: Tuesday, Thursday: 8 AM - 4 PM
- Breaks: 60-minute meal break (not counted as work hours).
- Weekend Work: No weekend shifts required.

Looking for a motivated Hygienist to help organically build the hygiene program in our boutique dental practice.

Prefer a candidate with the following attributes:
- Ability to work with Loupes comfortably
- Extremely outgoing personality and strong customer service skills
- Experience and comfortable with basic periodontic maintenance
