Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal maintenance to promote and preserve oral health.
Conduct dental scaling and prophylaxis treatments tailored to patient needs.
Take and process medical imaging, including panoramic, bitewing, and extraoral radiographs, to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Review patient documentation and medical records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Monitor and record vital signs as part of initial patient assessments.
Collaborate closely with dentists and dental assistants to ensure seamless patient care delivery.
Utilize Dentrix software or similar systems for effective patient scheduling, charting, and record management.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, dental care, and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and ensure a clean, organized work environment.
Provide supportive care in pediatric dentistry settings when necessary.

Valid Registered Dental Hygienist license in the state of Pennsylvania.
Proficient in panoramic imaging, bitewing x-rays, and extraoral radiography.
Knowledgeable in dental assisting practices and periodontal maintenance.
Strong communication skills with clear language ability for patient counseling and education.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively as part of a dental team and maintain positive patient interactions.

Experience working in a dental office environment preferred.
Comfortable working with pediatric patients is a plus.
