（Full-time） Dental hygienist job at Omaha Family Dental

Take digital X-rays, use intra-oral cameras, and perform Itero scans
Deliver thorough dental hygiene care including prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, debridement, and periodontal maintenance
Conduct oral health screenings including medical history review and communicate findings to the dentist
Provide patient education on oral hygiene and preventive care tailored to individual needs
Accurately chart patient records and document all procedures in the patient management system
Prepare, set up, and sterilize dental instruments and equipment following OSHA and CDC guidelines
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Adhere to HIPAA, state, and federal regulations regarding patient confidentiality and care standards
Collaborate effectively with dentists and team members to promote a positive patient experience
Support practice business goals through effective scheduling and patient management
Participate in continuing education and professional development to maintain licensure and enhance skills
Perform other duties as assigned to support practice operations and growth

Full-time: Monday - Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Part-time: Fridays, 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Saturday and Sunday: Closed

Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene required
Registered Dental Hygienist licensure in Texas required
Current CPR certification required
Proficient in using dental equipment including Cavitron, Prophyject, X-ray machines, hand scalers, curettes, and handpieces
Strong patient care and customer service skills
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to multitask and adapt to changing clinical environments
Team player with strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
Ability to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients and colleagues

Prefer Laser certification (preferred but not required)
