（Part-time） Dental hygienist job at Monticciolo Family & Sedation Dentistry - Hudson

Conduct comprehensive oral health evaluations including screening for periodontal disease, oral cancer, and other oral/systemic conditions.
Perform dental hygiene procedures aligned with treatment plans prescribed by the dentist, including:
Prophylaxis (professional teeth cleaning)
Periodontal scaling and root planing
Debridement
Placement of locally applied antibiotics
Fluoride treatment applications
Protective sealant applications
In-office and take-home whitening treatments
Administer anesthetics as needed to ensure patient comfort during procedures.
Educate patients on effective oral hygiene practices to maintain and improve oral health.
Assist dentists by identifying potential restorative concerns and communicating findings.
Support efficient patient flow by assisting with radiographs, sterilization, and general office procedures.
Collaborate with doctors and office staff to maintain a superior patient experience.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, including performing routine housekeeping and preventative equipment maintenance.
Follow all safety, health, and infection control protocols rigorously.
Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Part-time: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday
Office hours: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Licensed and/or Registered Dental Hygienist in the state of Florida.
Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for manipulating dental instruments and equipment.
Ability to stand, walk, and maintain focus during procedures for extended periods.
Strong communication skills and a patient-focused attitude.

Entry-level candidates welcome; recent experience preferred (up to 1 year).
Dentrix software experience highly preferred but not required.
