Title	Dental hygienist
Job Description	Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate oral health and identify potential issues Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, while following infection control protocols Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure a safe, sterile environment for every procedure Maintain accurate patient records using Eaglesoft or similar dental software Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the value of regular dental visits Assist with pediatric dental procedures, creating a positive experience for younger patients Collaborate during four-handed dentistry procedures to optimize efficiency and patient comfort Stay updated on dental terminology and the latest advances in dental hygiene practices
Salary Range	Part-time $53.00 - $58.00 /hour
Salary Details	- Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.
Shift & Schedule	Flexible schedule Monday to Friday; weekends as needed (part-time only) ONLY 2 DAYS A WEEK
Requirements	Licensed dental hygienist Valid Dental Hygienist license in New York Proficient in infection control and aseptic techniques Strong patient care skills, empathy, and excellent communication Team player with a professional, positive attitude Great organizational skills and attention to detail
Preferences	Eaglesoft General Dentistry Experience in general dentistry preferred; pediatric familiarity a plus Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental management software preferred
