（Full-time） Dental hygienist job at Highland Creek Modern Dentistry

Job Duties:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Conduct oral cancer screenings
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide oral health instructions
- Assist the dentist during procedures and maintain a sterile and organized work environment
- Document patient treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant information in electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Epic or Eaglesoft
- Follow all infection control protocols and maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations

Monday to Friday

- Valid state dental hygiene license
- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Excellent knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and practices

Must Have:
- Proficiency in medical coding for dental procedures
- Ability to assess patient needs and provide appropriate treatment recommendations
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques for dental diagnosis
- Strong understanding of medical records management and documentation requirements
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws
- Familiarity with dental software systems such as Epic or Eaglesoft for scheduling and recordkeeping purposes
- Solid understanding of human anatomy related to oral health
