（Part-time） Dental hygienist job position at Venice Advanced Dentistry, Inc

Conduct thorough documentation reviews of patient medical and dental histories
Deliver high-quality dental hygiene care, including cleanings, scaling, root planing, and polishing
Monitor and record patient vital signs as part of assessments
Assist the dentist during procedures with four-handed dentistry techniques
Maintain a sterile and safe clinical environment, adhering to aseptic techniques and workplace safety
Take and process panoramic, periapical, bitewing x-rays, and CBCT images as needed
Ensure HIPAA compliance in all patient documentation and records management
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix dental software
Educate and counsel patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions

Expected Hours: 12–20 per week

Schedule:
Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Flexible day shifts; no weekends!

Valid Registered Dental Hygienist license in Florida
Proficiency in dental cleanings, root planing, scaling, and patient education
Experience with dental imaging (panoramic, periapical, bitewing, CBCT)
Familiarity with Dentrix dental software and documentation review
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and strong attention to patient confidentiality
Skilled in aseptic techniques and maintaining a sterile field
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach
Ability to assist with dental assisting tasks as needed

2+ years of experience working in a dental clinic setting (3–5 years preferred)
