（Full-time） Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) job at Heather E. Martinson DDS

What You’ll Be Doing:

Providing thorough yet gentle cleanings, including scaling and root planing when needed
Taking and reviewing digital X-rays as part of routine and diagnostic care
Talking with patients about their oral health in a way that makes sense to them — not just dental jargon
Placing sealants or fluoride treatments when appropriate and as recommended by the doctor
Keeping detailed, accurate notes in the patient chart (we use Eaglesoft or something similar)
Working closely with the doctors to help identify issues and support treatment planning
Making sure hygiene patients are scheduled for their next visit and understand why it's important
Pitching in to help the team when needed — turning over rooms, sterilizing instruments, etc.
Keeping up with infection control and safety protocols so everyone (you included) stays protected

Work Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts

Qualifications:

Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license
Nitrous Oxide certification (or willingness to obtain)
Current CPR certification
Comfortable with patient assessments and discussing treatment recommendations

Familiarity with HIPAA guidelines and strong commitment to patient privacy
Proficient in taking digital X-rays
Some dental office experience preferred, but new grads are welcome to apply
