Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Document patient medical histories and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluorides to help protect teeth.
Assist in the management of infection control protocols within the clinic, ensuring a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to aseptic techniques.

Work Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts

Skills:

Proficiency in using Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software.
Strong knowledge of medical records management and medical coding practices.
Familiarity with infection control procedures and protocols within a dental clinic setting.
Experience with medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry.

Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment within a dental office.
Knowledge of general dentistry practices and procedures.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively educate patients.
