（Part-time） Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) job at Davidson Dental Assoc., PLLC

What You’ll Do:

• Assess gum health, check for signs of periodontal disease, and provide early intervention when needed.
• Take and review digital X-rays to assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Guide patients on proper brushing and flossing techniques for optimal at-home care.
• Provide tailored recommendations for oral care products, such as electric toothbrushes, mouthwashes, and interdental cleaners.
• Discuss the impact of nutrition and lifestyle habits (such as smoking, grinding, and sugar intake) on oral health.
• Collaborate with dentists, assistants, and front office staff to create a seamless patient experience.
• Maintain a positive and professional atmosphere, ensuring patients feel comfortable and valued.
• Accurately document patient histories, exam findings, and treatment progress in digital records.
•Work closely with the dentist to develop personalized treatment plans that align with each patient's needs.
• Track and schedule follow-up visits to ensure patients receive continuous care.

Work Hours:

• Tuesday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM

What We’re Looking For:

• Must possess a current and valid license to practice as a Registered Dental Hygienist in the state.
•Certification to perform dental radiography, ensuring compliance with state regulations and safety standards.
• Current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) to ensure patient safety in emergency situations.
• Demonstrated expertise in using dental hygiene instruments and equipment, including ultrasonic scalers, hand instruments, and digital imaging systems.

• Ability to effectively educate patients on oral hygiene practices and build rapport to enhance patient comfort and trust.
• Meticulous in performing assessments, documenting patient information, and adhering to infection control protocols.
