Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages, with a focus on pediatric dentistry.
Take and develop medical imaging, including X-rays, to assist in diagnosing dental issues.
Assess and record vital signs as part of the initial patient evaluation process.
Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate patient records using Eaglesoft or similar systems, ensuring all medical terminology is correctly documented.
Collaborate with dentists to provide comprehensive patient care and support during procedures.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the dental office environment.
Keep the treatment area clean and organized, adhering to infection control protocols.

Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations.

Experience in pediatrics is highly desirable; familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices is a plus.
Proficiency in using Eaglesoft or similar dental office management systems.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dental care.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Ability to perform vital sign assessments accurately.
A commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a friendly and professional manner.
Previous experience in general dentistry is preferred but not mandatory.
