Job Summary:

As a Part-Time Registered Dental Hygienist at Westmount Dental Arts, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality preventive dental care to our patients. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining optimal oral health and enhancing the overall patient experience. You will work closely with our dental team to educate patients about their oral health and assist in treatment planning.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth.
- Conduct patient assessments and record medical histories, dental histories, and vital signs.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, nutrition, and the importance of preventive care.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, providing necessary support.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Ensure all dental instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and maintained.
- Collaborate with the dental team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene and best practices.
- Foster a positive and welcoming environment for patients.

Office Hours:

Monday - Thursday
8:00 AM to 5:00 PM | Lunch: 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

- Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
- Current state license to practice dental hygiene in Missouri.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a dental hygienist preferred.
- Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and infection control protocols.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to provide excellent patient care.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
