（Part-time） Dental hygienist job at Angela Aaron DDS LLC

Angela Aaron DDS LLC is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team. As a valued member of our practice, you will play a vital role in providing top-quality dental care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough dental cleanings, performing oral health assessments, taking X-rays, and educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices.

The Dental Hygienist performs a variety of patient care, office, such as assessing the dental condition and needs of patients, taking vital signs and documenting/reviewing medical history, performing routine treatments (such as cleaning and polishing), and applying sealants and fluorides. He or she instructs patients on postoperative and general oral health care, takes dental x-rays, turn over rooms.

Candidates must have a pleasant and courteous personality, strong computer skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with dental practice management software is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform dental cleanings and routine examinations
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques
- Assist the dentist during procedures as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
- Uphold infection control and sterilization protocols
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure patient satisfaction

1 day per week only

- Current license or certification to practice in this state
- Two years of experience is preferred but not mandatory
- Highly professional and dependable
- Pleasant/friendly demeanor and an outgoing personality
- Communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, staff, vendors, and others
- Strong computer and internet skills
- Experience with dental practice management software a plus
- Current CPR certification a plus
