Job Types: Full-time, Part-time DUTIES - Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth - Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans - Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide preventive dental care - Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as necessary - Take and develop dental x-rays - Assist the dentist during procedures by providing instruments and materials - Maintain accurate patient records using dental software systems (e.g., Dentrix Ascend) - Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile environment Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position. Requirements	Licensed dental hygienist - Valid state dental hygiene license - Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
Preferences	- Knowledge of dental office procedures and HIPAA regulations - Proficiency in using dental software systems (e.g., Eaglesoft, CAD) - Familiarity with dental assisting techniques and procedures - Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work well in a team environment
