（Part-time） Dental hygienist job at Wall Street Dental

- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth

- Take and document vital signs to assess patient health prior to procedures

- Review medical documentation and maintain accurate medical records for each patient

- Utilize Dentrix and Dexis software for patient management, scheduling, and documentation purposes

- Assist the dentist during procedures as needed, ensuring a smooth workflow in the clinic

- Apply knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy to provide effective patient care

- Conduct pediatric dentistry procedures with a focus on creating a positive experience for younger patients

- Utilize medical imaging systems to capture necessary diagnostic images as part of the treatment process

- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventative care strategies to promote long-term dental health

Office Hours:

Mondays to Thursdays, 8 am to 5 pm

- Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice

- Strong knowledge of anatomy related to dental health and medical terminology

- Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software is preferred but not required

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient education

- Prior experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus but not mandatory

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional patient care
