Strong foundation in general dentistry, with experience in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and other specialized procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and diagnosis using medical imaging and dental terminology
Deliver a wide range of dental services such as general dentistry, root canal therapy, dental extractions, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery procedures
Utilize advanced dental technology and software including Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for charting, treatment planning, and medical documentation
Ensure infection control protocols and aseptic techniques are strictly followed to maintain a sterile environment
Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment options, and preventive care tailored to pediatric patients and general populations
Collaborate with team members to develop individualized treatment plans that meet patient needs while adhering to HIPAA regulations for medical records privacy
Maintain accurate medical documentation and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards related to patient care and medical records management


Qualifications:

Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from an accredited institution
Active state dental license in Georgia
Experience in general dentistry
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Experience with dental software and technology
Continuing education in dentistry is a plus

Requirements

Valid dental license to practice in Georgia or the ability to obtain licensure without restrictions
Proven experience in general dentistry with additional expertise in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, or prosthodontics preferred
Proficiency in using dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control procedures, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry
Demonstrated ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other complex procedures with precision
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively and communicate treatment plans clearly
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and best practices for maintaining confidentiality of medical records
Prior experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment is highly desirable

Requirements
