Title	Pediatric Dentist
Description	Responsibilities JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for providing dental care and treatment to patients Assesses the patients to determine dental care needs Develops a dental treatment plan with the patient/parent or guardian Educates patients regarding preventive care, planned care and treatment and follow-up care; also provides general health education as it relates to dental care Makes referrals, as indicated by the assessed needs of the patients Participates in the on-call schedule Provides emergency care and treatment, as necessary Documents complete information on dental charts Participates as a member of the medical staff and adheres to the medical staff bylaws/rules and regulations The Dentist must be compliant and cooperate fully with the FQHC's compliance program, including its standards of conduct and policies and procedures Such compliance will be an element considered as part of the Dentist’s regular performance evaluation
