Temporary Part-Time General Dentist (Mondays Only) – Maternity Leave Coverage at Oregon City Smiles Dental

We are seeking a skilled General Dentist to cover an 8-week maternity leave on Mondays only, from October 13 through December 1, 2025. This part-time, temporary position is ideal for a dentist looking to supplement their income and enjoy flexible scheduling while working in a friendly practice with a strong patient base.

Job Description	Provide comprehensive general dentistry services to patients, including exams, diagnostics, preventive care, restorations, and pain management Manage patient treatment plans and dental records efficiently and accurately Ensure compliance with healthcare infection prevention and control protocols Utilize modern digital dental technologies and software in daily practice Collaborate effectively with the dental team to maintain a smooth workflow and high patient satisfaction Maintain compliance with Oregon state dental regulations and continuing education requirements Communicate clearly with patients regarding treatment options, procedures, and aftercare
Salary Range	【Part-time】 $3,000.00 /month
Salary Details	- Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience. - Competitive daily rate starting at $750 per day or 30% adjusted production
Shift & Schedule	Mondays only, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch break from 1-2 PM)
Requirements	Cardiopulmonary resuscitation Basic life support Licensed dentist General Dentistry DEA Registration Nitrous Oxide Certification Current, unrestricted Oregon dental license, or eligibility for licensure by reciprocity without further examination Completion of at least 40 hours of continuing education within the last two years, including: Minimum 1 hour on pain management specific to Oregon Minimum 2 hours each on infection control and cultural competency Nitrous Oxide Certification CPR and BLS Certification DEA License for prescribing medications Experience in general dentistry with proficiency in pain management Ability to adhere to healthcare infection prevention and control standards Good professional standing with no current disciplinary actions (required for reciprocity applicants)
Preferences	Experienced Dentist (3+ years) Experience working in a digitally friendly dental office environment Mid-level clinical experience in general dentistry Strong communication skills and patient-focused bedside manner
