General dentist, opportunity, new grad? Semi retired? Full autonomy, percentage of collections. Plain and simple.

The office has a very unique feel, we have a good rapport with the public. I have an exceptional manager who is a genius at dental billing. My wife is an attorney so she is well-versed in all the ins and outs of owning businesses. She does the payroll and keeps everything working smoothly. I buy the equipment. I have enough equipment to start a second satellite office at this point which I may do in the next couple years. I have 15 years of experience. I do everything from simple general dentistry, cleaning exams, root canals if you’re comfortable, I refer out what I don’t want to do in that department. I have three high-end endodontics systems. I have two brand new three shape trial three scanners five laptops, three operatories, rolling carts and two amazing assistance to keep the day going very smoothly. Constantly getting new patients Advertising is easy for us because there is a shortage of dentists and I’m acquiring multiple practices that are just guys retiring without any plan. I have plenty of patience on average maybe 6 to 7 new patients a day and I did 11 years of corporate/federal qualified health center dentistry seeing 30 people a day and now I basically pick and choose my battles. One thing I will say is, I’m always gentle, I’m always kind and pride myself on doing quality dental care as well as giving patients a pleasant experience. The procedural tasks can go as fast as you want, but when it comes down to it, you must spend time with patients to gain a good rapport. You have to have a good attitude in this profession, and you can’t be willing to sacrifice your ethics for morals, because if you are selling dentistry rather than providing dental care most of the time you’re doing people a disservice. My private Practice puts the “private quote back into private practice. It’s a really cool environment with good tunes and an easy-going atmosphere. You can make as much as you want to make and obviously work the hours that you want to work. Without compromising your family and outside life, I would be willing to give you as many hours as you need as long as it’s productive. We just have to really meet each other, sit down and of course, have some sort of trial period. that we will decide whether or not it’s a good fit. Most of the time the percentage of collections can be anywhere from 28 to 35%, I’ve paid oral surgeon 50% for certain procedures Done in my office, I have no problem breaking even on certain things and I’m surely more interested in just having a colleague, even if it’s for a short time. We are a different type of dental practice. Take some time review some of the my reviews on Google. No one leaves my office, scratching their head with a giant bill coming in the mail or no idea about what just happened in terms of their treatment plan. I like my patience to have the issues treated that are necessary and if they mention cosmetic care, then I will entertain that and do veneers clear all liners, whitening, etc. But through the years, I’ve mastered the art of dentistry, which I believe is more about giving a patient a good experience. Again, I am a great teacher and I would also as a younger dentist with 15 years of experience really appreciate working with perhaps someone who’s already retired and is having So-called withdrawals from not doing dentistry. Surprisingly this does happen from time to time. The baby boomers are retiring at a rapid rate. It’s going to be a professional desert in towns like this and practices are closing without any buyers or without any associates taking them over and I’m gaining their charts And their Goodwill. I don’t know what else to say except for when we meet each other and you meet the staff and see the office. You’ll understand that you could make a great living as well as enjoy your job. At your own pace, of course.

Salary Details

- Competitive collections percentage
- Commission-Based Incentives: Earn a percentage of the revenue generated from advanced treatments, including dental implants, orthodontic procedures, and cosmetic dentistry services.
We are fully digital office with two state-of-the-art three shape scanners. We see a lot of patients who have 100% coverage up to $7000 a year under some plans. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere with two very talented assistance and three operatories with the potential for a satellite office. We currently have enough equipment to open a second office just waiting for the right time and the right associate. Also would be interested in hiring a recently retired dentist. Perhaps working, whenever you want to. As long as you are being productive, you’ll be paid for your time. No pressure no contracts just looking to have another dentist in the office, I often times see multiple patients at once that require local anesthesia, I do a lot of digital scans of dentures, usually we can get these done in two appointments. One using a wash impression in the existing denture, I will train anybody on how to do this. I have great success. I use a very high-end lab in the highest end scanners. My office and is inviting and warm and my manager has a 99% collections Record, she doesn’t miss a beat on denial if we ever get any and she’s always motivated by making sure that we get paid for the work that we do. Great job for an an older dentist that is semi retired, sky is the limit when you are making a percentage of the collections, make your own hours if you’d like, and I’ll worry about the overhead equipment, materials and staff. even if you wanted to do SCRP‘s and cleanings exams and treatment planning that would be OK as well. It would also be excellent for new graduates as I am a good teacher. I’ve been doing this for 15 years and worked in many different dental environments before I open my private practice. Would love to mentor a new dentist.

Benefits

The main benefit of working at dental arts severe would be autonomy as a dentist. We will have the ability to consult my wife who is an attorney for any logistical issues or preliminary hiring agreements, my office manager is 25 years experience. Basically you could just walk in and as long as you are a good fit and at our interview you and I will talk and we can do it for a year or do it for 20 years, whatever you think you wanna do. I’m not necessarily in dire need of an associates. I don’t think I am ready to sell out, but I think I wasn’t ready for that when I graduated dental school either. It’s just a great way to make a percentage of your collections as long as you’re holding the proper malpractice insurance, etc. etc. I will add you as a provider and that’ll be about it. If things don’t work out as a result of bad judgment during our initial interview, then we go our separate ways, but I’m a very good judge of character and I want it to be a low pressure Office environment.

Shift & Schedule

- Work Hours: negotiable
- Breaks: if you want to break for lunch that is up to you
- Overtime: if you’d like to work on the weekends or bring patients in for specialized procedures, my wife, who is an attorney will make sure that you are covered legally as a provider in the office and you can use the office as needed.
- Weekend Work: completely up to you
Holidays: completely up to you

Requirements

All you have to be is a dentist that is willing to do dental procedures. I don’t know what else to say here ha ha I think meeting in person would be the best possible choice. It’d be a great way to learn as a new dentist, like I said or as a retired or semi-retired dentist, a good way to make extra money on the side.

Preferences

Basically you need to be able to do dentistry, honest, moral, ethical, and quality dentistry. You do not have to do anything above and beyond what you’re comfortable with, and again speaking in person about all this is ideal. We could turn this into a long-term career or it could just be a stepping stone for you or should I say for those who have retired or retirement age, the final stepping stone before they hang up the drill forever. I am proficient in most areas of dentistry, including clear liners, root canals, crowns, bridges, veneers, implant, restorations, digital scans dentures partials restorations of all types goes on and on. I usually treat chief complaints, I do not treatment plan like the giant TSO’s do but we do offer in house financing with no interest so there are some opportunities for some six to $7000 treatment plans on a daily basis, whether or not the person gets approved is up to their credit and up to my office manager you will have a space to yourself in the office and as long as you’re busy and seeing people you’ll be making money as simple as that. I don’t mean to sound crap a business owner, but I’m very relaxed not looking to become the most successful dentist in the world, but truthfully, I’ve worked alongside other dentists for most of my career and it gets a bit lonely and isolating working alone. I enjoyed teaching at a dental school for about a half a year before Covid Hit, and that was very rewarding. I’m willing to help any young dentist learn the proper and realistic way to go about making a professional out of dentistry, I know when to hold him and I know when to fold them so to speak, some dentist are driven by profit, and I understand this motive, but I am truly driven by doing good dentistry. There’s always going to be someone better than you out there at everything you do just get on YouTube and check it out, I guarantee anybody on there could make you feel like you’re terrible at what you do, but I believe that kindness wins
