（Part-time） Associate Dentist job at Ridgetop Dental - Reston

Essential Functions:

· Examine patient mouths for diagnosis of oral health, training, and treatment needs;

· Provide treatment in accordance with standards of care, to include but not limited to:

o Visual exams

o X-ray reviews

o Removing tooth decay

o Filling cavities

o Applying sealants

o Administering anesthetics

o Repair of fractured teeth

o Tooth extractions

o Corrective surgery to patient gums and bones for gum diseases

o Prepare and measure to create models to fit and finish composite/amalgam restorations.

o Replace teeth

o Write prescriptions for antibiotics and pain, as necessary

o General oral care

Manage asepsis, infection, using and maintaining hazard control protocols as established by OSHA and office standards.
Refers to specialists, as needed.

8 hour shift

Must always represent the practice in a professional, pleasant, and cooperative manner.
Must maintain regular, consistent and punctual attendance in accordance with assigned schedule and time off policies.
Must be able to comfortably and efficiently handle multiple deadlines and task assignments.
Must be able to work both independently and cooperatively in team settings.
Occasionally there may be some travel, by car or plane, required in order for you to participate in continuing education or seminars.
Other duties and tasks, as assigned periodically.
