Position Summary
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Front Office Dental Coordinator who is confident in dental insurance, treatment planning, and front desk operations. This role requires someone who can lead by example, support the team, and keep the front office running smoothly—all while maintaining a calm, positive, and approachable atmosphere for both patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities

Insurance Coordination

Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and breakdowns accurately
Submit and track claims, pre-authorizations, and resolve issues efficiently
Handle denials and appeals with persistence and attention to detail
Clearly explain insurance coverage and patient financial responsibility

Treatment Plan Coordination

Present treatment plans in a clear, confident, and relatable way
Help patients understand the value of treatment and their financial options
Support high case acceptance through trust, education, and follow-up
Coordinate scheduling for comprehensive or phased treatments

Front Office & Reception

Greet patients warmly and create a welcoming, low-stress environment
Manage scheduling, confirmations, and daily flow of the office
Answer phones and patient questions with professionalism and ease
Maintain accurate records and ensure smooth front desk operations

Leadership & Team Contribution

Lead by example with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
Be a dependable team player who supports both front and back office
Help maintain a “chill,” organized, and drama-free work environment
Communicate clearly and respectfully with team members and patients
Step in where needed and keep things moving efficiently during busy times

Qualifications

3+ years of dental front office experience, with strong insurance and treatment coordination background
Solid understanding of dental insurance, billing, and CDT coding
Experience presenting treatment plans and discussing finances confidently
Proficiency with dental software (Dentrix)
Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills

- Weekend Work: No weekend shifts required.
