（Full-time） Treatment Coordinator job at Charleston Periodontics

The right candidate will ensure smooth function of all steps in the process of patient treatment from start to completion in our office. In addition, ensures correct transition of treatment to the General dentists.
You will enter treatment plans into the computer; present treatment plans to patients; demonstrate the value of treatment; obtain patient initials and signature at presentation; answer questions and explains treatment to the patient; make financial arrangements with patients following office protocols; maintain systems for communicating and following-up with patients who are not ready for treatment; schedule appointments for patients; file pre-estimates when the patient requests; keep monthly tracker of proposed and accepted treatment; send letters to referring dentist informing them of declined or postponed treatment; obtain medical clearance for procedures if required; coordinate treatment with the general dentist when needed. (i.e. flipper, denture, AOF); collect payment for See and Do procedures, AOF procedures, and any other visit when admin staff needs assistance; answer the telephone as needed. This position alternates Fridays with the fellow Treatment Coordinator.

Mon-Thurs 7:30a-5:30p and alternating Fridays 7:30a-3:00p
