（Full-time） Front Office Personnel for Dental Specialist (Periodontist) job position at Mark I Gutt DMD PA

Manage the front desk, serving as the first point of contact for patients with warmth and professionalism.

Optimize and maintain the daily schedule, coordinating appointments for consults, procedures, and follow-ups.

Verify and process complex dental and medical insurance claims related to specialized periodontal and implant procedures.

Present and explain treatment plans and financial estimates to patients clearly and accurately.

Handle accounts receivable, collect patient payments, and process end-of-day reconciliation.

Maintain strict confidentiality of patient records and practice information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Answer phones, manage patient correspondence, and coordinate referrals to and from other dental professionals.

Monday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Tuesday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Wednesday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Minimum of 2 to 3 years of verifiable experience working in a dental or medical office setting.

Demonstrated proficiency in front office and administrative duties, including scheduling and patient coordination.

Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.

A proven track record as a motivated "people person" with excellent interpersonal communication abilities.

Prior experience in a specialist dental office (e.g., Periodontics, Oral Surgery, Orthodontics).

Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish to effectively communicate with our diverse patient base.

In-depth knowledge of dental/medical insurance processing, coding (CPT/HCPCS), and benefits verification is a plus.

Proficiency with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, etc.).
