About the Role: In this crucial front desk position, you will play a vital role in our day-to-day operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient flow from patient arrival to departure. You'll be the first point of contact for our patients, assisting them with appointments, inquiries, and providing administrative support.
Responsibilities: Key responsibilities include greeting patients, managing appointments, answering phones and patient inquiries, maintaining patient records, processing payments, verifying insurance, and providing administrative support. Additional tasks may involve assisting with forms, coordinating referrals, handling mail, maintaining the reception area, and ordering supplies.
Qualifications: A high school diploma or GED is required, and previous experience in a dental or medical office is preferred. Familiarity with dental terminology and practice management software (Dentrix) is beneficial. Essential skills include strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to multitask. Basic computer skills are also necessary.
