Dental assistant (Full-Time) job at Center For Dental Implants And Dentistry Walnut Creek

Advanced Chairside Assisting: Deliver expert four-handed dentistry techniques during a diverse range of procedures, including restorations, extractions, prosthodontics, endodontics, and specialized pediatric care.

Imaging & Diagnostics: Confidently capture and develop high-quality dental radiographs (X-rays) and 3D diagnostic scans to facilitate precise treatment planning.

Sterilization & Safety: Prepare operatory rooms utilizing strict aseptic techniques, maintaining rigorous infection control protocols and sterilization procedures throughout the clinic.

Digital Records Management: Accurately update and manage patient health records, vital sign assessments, and medical coding using Open Dental and Dexis, ensuring strict adherence to HIPAA regulations.

Dual-Role Collaboration: Support the front office team when needed by answering phones, greeting families, and managing appointment scheduling with a welcoming smile.

Patient Advocacy: Educate individuals and families of all ages on proactive oral hygiene habits and critical post-treatment care instructions.

Status: Full-time

Core Days: Monday through Friday

Licensure: Active and valid California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification or equivalent state licensure.

Experience: Proven hands-on experience in a general dentistry setting. (A background or comfort level with endodontics, prosthodontics, or pediatrics is a major plus!)

Technical Proficiency: Competence operating digital X-ray machinery, 3D scanners, and modern dental software programs.

Core Competencies: Fluent understanding of dental anatomy, terminology, infection control protocols, and HIPAA compliance laws.

Interpersonal Strength: Exceptional communication skills with a natural ability to connect with and soothe patients of all ages, especially children.
