（Part-time） Dental assistant job at Walnut Dental Specialists

Clinical Assisting: Directly assist the dentist during procedures and treatments; prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.

Diagnostics: Take and develop high-quality dental X-rays.

Patient Care: Provide essential education on oral hygiene and post-operative care; record vital signs and update medical histories.

Office Operations: Assist with front-office duties including answering phones, filing, billing, and managing the appointment scheduling system.

Safety & Hygiene: Strictly follow infection control procedures and maintain a sterile environment in compliance with safety protocols.

Monday, Thursday, Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Every Saturday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Note: Candidates must be able to travel between our Walnut and Chino Hills locations as needed.

Certification: Must hold a valid CPR Certification. (RDA or CDA license preferred).

Experience: Previous experience as a dental assistant is preferred.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in dental software systems, specifically Dentrix and Dexis.

Clinical Knowledge: Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control protocols.

Professionalism: Excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting.
