Position: Experienced Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)

🌟 Your Role & Responsibilities
As our RDA, you’ll be at the heart of our clinical team. The following tasks are essential, compliant with TSBDE guidelines:
✅ Clinical Skills
- Provide chairside assistance with proper four-handed techniques under direct supervision
- Take and process digital X-rays using Dexis (with valid radiography certification)
- Prepare treatment areas and sterilize instruments following CDC, OSHA, and HIPAA protocols
- Create temporary crowns and take preliminary impressions (as permitted by law)
- Support assist providers, suctioning, and tissue retraction during procedures, etc.
- Perform coronal polishing (if certified through approved course)
- Maintain safe and organized operatory spaces with infection control best practices

🗂️ Administrative Competence
- Document treatments, chart accurately, and manage scheduling in Dentrix
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care
- Communicate clearly and professionally with patients and coworkers

This position requires active licensure as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) by the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners (TSBDE). Applicants who do not meet this requirement including those trained in dentistry outside the United States are not eligible for consideration. - Experience: Minimum 3+ years as a practicing Texas-licensed RDA
- Tech-Savvy: Skilled in Dentrix and Dexis software
- Clinical Confidence: Comfortable with all duties within Texas RDA scope of practice
- Heart for Service: Friendly, empathetic, and patient-centered chairside manner
