Title	Expanded Function Dental Assistant
Job Description	Direct Care: Assist with placing and contouring fillings, sealants, and restorations. Diagnostics: Take radiographs for diagnostics and review/update patient dental records. Preventative Services: Complete coronal polishing, fluoride applications, and provide oral hygiene education. Clinical Prep: Set up and maintain treatment rooms and sterilize equipment to ensure a safe environment. Patient Support: Prepare patients for procedures, ensure their comfort, and provide post-procedure care instructions.

Shift & Schedule	Monday to Friday
Requirements	Cardiopulmonary resuscitation Basic life support X-ray / Radiography Certification Infection Control License Dentrix Open Dental Eaglesoft Licensure: Active EFDA license for Pennsylvania (or expected within the next 3 months). Certification: PA X-Ray License and CPR certification (in-house training available). Compliance: Knowledge of and adherence to OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control procedures. Soft Skills: Strong communication skills to foster team spirit and ease patient concerns. Preferred: Prior experience with Open Dental software and experience with both adult and pediatric patients is a plus.
