（Full-time） Dental assistant job position at Carlson Dental

About the Role:

As our Dental Assistant, you’ll be a key part of the clinical team — helping to deliver seamless, top-tier care while ensuring our patients feel comfortable, informed, and well taken care of. You’ll work closely with our doctors, anticipate their needs, and help create an atmosphere where clinical excellence meets concierge-level service.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Preparing treatment rooms and making sure everything is ready to go — clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Assisting chairside during a variety of procedures, including cosmetic, restorative and surgical dentistry.
- Taking digital X-rays and intraoral photos with precision and care.
- Educating patients on procedures, post-op care, and overall oral health in a way that’s clear and empathetic.
- Staying on top of infection control, sterilization, and OSHA protocols (clean and safe is a must).
- Managing supply inventory and supporting day-to-day clinical operations.
- Being an extra set of hands and eyes — thinking one step ahead and always ready to help.

Our practice is open Monday - Thursday. No Fridays or weekends required.

- At least 2 years of experience in private practice or fee-for-service (preferred, not required).
- Someone who is confident, calm, and comfortable working in a premium, service-focused environment.
- Great communicator — friendly, professional, and attentive to both team and patient needs.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive — you like when everything is in its place.
- Familiarity with office management software (we use Dentrix).
