（Part-time） Registered Dental Assistant job position at Lower Azusa Dental

Chairside Assisting: Provide expert assistance to the dentist during a variety of clinical procedures, ensuring a seamless workflow.

Patient Preparation: Greet patients warmly, prepare treatment rooms, and ensure patients are comfortable throughout their visit.

Infection Control: Adhere to strict sterilization protocols, including autoclaving instruments and maintaining a sterile clinical environment.

Diagnostics: Capture high-quality dental impressions and assist with other diagnostic tasks as directed by the dentist.

Compliance: Maintain absolute patient confidentiality and follow all HIPAA regulations regarding sensitive health information.

Communication: Utilize bilingual skills to bridge communication gaps, providing clear instructions and support to Spanish-speaking patients.

Working Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Office Hours: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM.

Total Expected Hours: Approximately 32 hours per week.

Days Off: Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Certification: Valid and current State Registration as a Dental Assistant (RDA).

Language Proficiency: Fully bilingual in English and Spanish to effectively assist our patient population.

Technical Skills: Proven experience in chairside assisting and dental impressions.

Safety Knowledge: Proficient in infection control standards and the proper use of autoclaving equipment.

Professionalism: A responsible, friendly demeanor with a strong commitment to punctuality and teamwork.

Experience: While we welcome entry-level applicants with strong foundational skills, prior experience in a fast-paced clinical setting is a plus.

Administrative Knowledge: Basic familiarity with dental office software and patient record management.

Compliance: Up-to-date knowledge of the latest HIPAA standards and workplace safety regulations.
