Title	Registered Dental Assistant
Job Description	Clinical Assisting: Prepare patients for dental work and assist the dentist during various procedures, including managing medical or dental emergencies if they arise. Infection Control: Maintain high standards of sterilization and disinfection of instruments, set up instrument trays, and prepare dental materials. Imaging & Diagnostics: Expose dental X-rays for diagnostics, maintain X-ray equipment, and record accurate treatment information in patient charts. Patient Education & Care: Collect medical histories, record vital signs, and educate patients on oral hygiene, plaque control, and postoperative instructions. Laboratory & Maintenance: Form preliminary impressions for study casts, fabricate temporary restorations, and perform routine dental equipment maintenance. Administrative Operations: Greet patients, manage phone calls and scheduling, verify insurance coverage, and process payments. Inventory Management: Monitor dental supplies and manage equipment inventory to ensure the office remains fully operational.
Salary Range	【Part-time】 $20.00 〜 $25.00 /hour

Shift & Schedule	Monday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Tuesday: Closed Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Thursday & Friday: Closed Saturday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Sunday: Closed
Requirements	Technical Literacy: Proficiency in computer operation for various tasks and medical charting. Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Certification: Current CPR Certification. Clinical Knowledge: Foundational understanding of healthcare infection prevention and control. Professionalism: A consistently professional appearance, a positive attitude, and a commitment to providing excellent patient care.
Preferences	Experience: Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar clinical role. Specialized Skills: Bilingual proficiency and experience with the fabrication of temporary restorations. Software: Familiarity with ER phone systems or dental practice management software. Expertise: Deep knowledge of dental terminology, insurance verification processes, and medical billing.
