Job Description	Patient Interaction: Greet young patients and their parents with a friendly attitude, helping to ease anxiety and create a comfortable atmosphere. Clinical Support: Provide chairside assistance during pediatric dental procedures, including exams, cleanings, and restorative treatments. Imaging & Diagnostics: Capture high-quality dental X-rays and assist with medical imaging as directed by the dentist. Sedation Support: Assist with the administration and monitoring of patients receiving Nitrous Oxide. Sterilization & Safety: Maintain strict infection control protocols by sterilizing instruments and preparing treatment rooms according to OSHA standards. Hospital Care: Assist the doctor during operating room (OR) procedures when necessary. Education: Provide age-appropriate oral hygiene instructions to patients and clear guidance to parents regarding post-operative care.
Salary Range	【Part-time】 $18.00 〜 $25.00 /hour
Salary Details	- Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.
Shift & Schedule	Monday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Friday – Sunday: Closed
Requirements	Cardiopulmonary resuscitation Basic life support X-ray / Radiography Certification Certification: Active Dental Assistant Certificate. Radiation Safety: Valid Radiation Health & Safety (X-ray) Certification. Nitrous Oxide: Current Nitrous Oxide Monitoring Certification. Life Support: Current CPR/BLS Certification. Attitude: An enthusiastic, outgoing personality with a genuine love for working with children, adolescents, and patients with special needs. Professionalism: Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Preferences	Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant Experienced Dental Assistant (1+ years) Clinical Experience: Previous experience in a pediatric dental office. Specialized Care: Prior experience assisting in operating room (OR) procedures. Advanced Credential: Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) designation. Experience Level: While we welcome entry-level applicants with the right certifications, prior pediatric or special needs experience is a plus.
