（Full-time） Dental assistant job at Beautiful Smiles by Design Dentistry

We are currently seeking two dedicated and compassionate Dental Assistants to join our teams at the Brainerd and McCallie locations in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about patient care, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is eager to grow professionally in a dynamic dental practice.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure patients feel at ease before, during, and after dental procedures.
Assist the dentist during a wide range of treatments, including restorative and surgical procedures.
Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays).
Prepare and sterilize instruments, treatment rooms, and equipment.
Record patient medical histories and take vital signs, including blood pressure and pulse.
Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene practices.
Set up treatment trays and assist with procedural preparation.
Support office operations such as scheduling and patient documentation, as needed.
Maintain knowledge of general dental assisting procedures; familiarity with implants and orthodontics is a plus.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Certified Dental Assistant (CDA): (Required)
Tennessee Dental Assistant license (Required)
High School Diploma or GED (Required)

Education:
Associate’s degree or equivalent technical education/experience (Preferred)

Certifications:

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: (Preferred)
