The Dental Assistant supports the dentist in delivering high-quality oral health care to patients. This role involves preparing treatment rooms, assisting with dental procedures, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a smooth, efficient patient experience. Clinical Support

Prepare and set up treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures.

Assist the dentist chairside during examinations and dental treatments.

Hand instruments and materials to the dentist as needed.

Take, develop, and mount digital or traditional dental X-rays (if certified).

Sterilize, disinfect, and maintain instruments and equipment.

Take patient vital signs, medical histories, and documentation as required.

Provide postoperative instructions as directed by the dentist.

Pour and trim dental models; prepare lab cases as needed.

Patient Care

Greet and prepare patients for treatment, ensuring comfort and understanding.

Explain procedures and answer basic patient questions.

Ensure patient safety and compliance with infection control protocols.

- Work Hours: Monday- Wednesday 8am-5pm
- Breaks: 60-minute meal break (not counted as work hours).
- Overtime: not applicable
- Weekend Work: No weekend shifts required.
