（Part-time） Pediatric Dental Assistant job at Seaside Kids Dental

Provide professional chairside assisting to the dentist during various pediatric dental procedures.

Prepare patients for treatments, ensuring their patient comfort and setting a positive tone for the visit.

Perform thorough dental sterilization procedures and disinfection to maintain a sterile environment and organize all dental instruments.

Safely take dental X-rays (operating medical imaging equipment).

Complete coronal polishing and other preventive procedures as directed.

Educate and counsel pediatric patients and their guardians on proper oral hygiene practices and dental care.

Maintain a clean, organized workspace and contribute to the positive, engaging experience for our young patients.

Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Alternate Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Prior experience as a Dental Assistant or successful completion of a formal dental assisting program is required.

Passion for working with children and making a positive impact on their dental health.

Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to effectively interact with children.

Proven ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

Detail-oriented with a strong focus on high-quality patient care.

Current CPR or AED Certification.

Specific prior experience in a pediatric dentistry setting.

Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and techniques.

Demonstrated ability to maintain an organized and clean workspace.
