（Part-time） Dental assistant job at Caring Modern Dentistry

Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, including preparing and sterilizing instruments.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) in line with safety protocols.
Fabricate temporary crowns and perform other chairside duties as assigned.
Prepare treatment rooms for patients and ensure all necessary materials are available.
Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative instructions, and general dental care.
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling appointments.
Manage inventory of dental supplies and ensure the operatory is well-stocked.
Uphold strict infection control and sterilization standards.
Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, demonstrating a willingness to assist colleagues.

Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Wednesday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Saturday: Closed
Sunday: Closed

Minimum of two (2) years of prior dental assisting experience.
Demonstrated proficiency in taking and developing dental X-rays.
Proven ability to fabricate temporary crowns.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong work ethic and a proactive approach to patient care and teamwork.
Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Understanding of and adherence to HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.

Active Dental Assistant certification (CDA or RDA, where applicable by state law).
Experience with dental practice management software.
Familiarity with a wide range of dental procedures.
