Key Responsibilities

Prepare and support patients for dental procedures, ensuring comfort and clear communication.
Provide skilled chairside assistance, anticipating the needs of the dentist and patient.
Capture and process dental X-rays.
Maintain and sterilize instruments, strictly following infection control protocols.
Accurately document patient records and treatment notes.
Educate patients on oral health and post-procedure care.
Manage supplies and ensure treatment rooms are fully stocked.
Support occasional front office tasks such as scheduling and insurance verification.

Practice Hours:

Monday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Thursday: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Expected hours: 40 per week

High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of a Dental Assistant program or relevant certification.
Current Ohio radiology certification (required).
Minimum 2 years of chairside dental assisting experience preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to anticipate needs, multitask, and contribute to a team-oriented culture.
Familiarity with dental software and advanced technology is a plus.
