（Full-time） Orthodontic Assistant job at Sunnyvale Orthodontics

Assist the Orthodontist during a variety of clinical procedures
Deliver friendly, attentive care and patient education
Provide oral hygiene and home care instructions to patients
Perform sterilization and disinfection procedures according to office protocols
Accurately take and maintain patient records, including iTero scans, digital photographs, and ceph/pano X-rays
Ensure proper infection control and patient safety
Support inventory management and daily office operations as needed
Facilitate positive patient interactions and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere

Monday: 7:30 am – 4:30 pm
Tuesday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Thursday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Additional days may become available depending on office needs

Dental assisting experience (orthodontic or general practice)
Proficient in chairside assisting, infection control, and sterilization procedures
Experience with digital dental equipment, including panoramic imaging and 3D scanners (iTero preferred)
Basic computer literacy and ability to manage electronic patient records
Strong communication and customer service skills
Demonstrated ability to follow patient privacy and HIPAA regulations
Ability to provide direct patient care and patient counseling
High school diploma or equivalent

Previous experience in an orthodontic setting
Familiarity with dental practice management software
Certification in dental radiology or orthodontic assisting (if applicable)
Bilingual or multilingual skills
